FAQ's - Rancho Alegre Conjunto Festival

Planning on partying with us? Here's how to have a great time...

#1 is probably parking, but please read these others first. These are even more important:

  1. Can we bring lawn chairs or blankets?
  2. Is it BYOB? Can I bring my own food?
  3. Can I bring a cooler?
  4. How should I dress?
  5. Will there be an area for dancing?
  6. Will there be vendors and other stuff to buy?
  7. What's the parking situation?

1) YES - Lawn chairs and blankets are welcome. There is no seating otherwise. There will be a reserved area for handicapped fans.

2) NO and NO - It is NOT BYOB. Outside food and drink are not allowed. Stubb's will have a variety of great food and drink available to purchase inside the venue.

3) NO - No coolers (see #3).

4) The outdoor area is on dirt, so dress for going to an outdoor event. You'll do great in boots and jeans (even shorts and chanclas!) but you might want to leave the high heels and dress clothes at home. Although the indoor stage has a nice smooth floor.

5) YES - Throughout the program, we will ask everyone to respect the dancefloor area. We will mark off a large space for leave open for dancing.

6) YES - Please support the artists and vendors - there will be a great selection of merchandise from the bands and the individuals selling their items.

7) PARKING - Stubb's Waller Creek Amphitheater is located in downtown Austin, with plenty of paid parking within a couple of blocks of the venue either on the street, in garages or in lots. Prepare for traffic and parking as you would for Fan Fair in San Antonio. Here's a map with some of the paid parking lots shown noted:

Have fun and enjoy the first chapter in the Rancho Alegre and Stubb's experience.
